How is the captaincy xPts calculated?

The model projects appearance, goal, assist, clean sheet, save, bonus, card and set-piece points, then blends them with recent form, season points per game and the official next-gameweek projection, adjusted for fixture difficulty and venue.

What is a differential captain pick?

A secure-minutes midfielder or forward under 10% ownership with the strongest projection — the model explains the ownership gap and the risk.

Does the model account for expected minutes?

Yes — xMins are estimated from starts, appearances, average start length and availability status, so rotation risk is priced in.
